Birth Of Mahavir Swami

Vardhaman was born to Chaitra Shukla Teras as the third child of father Siddharth and mother Trishala in Kshatriya Kundalpur of Vaishali Republic 599 years before Christ. He became ‘Saman.’ There was not even a single finger on his body in the name of grace. Most of the time, he was in meditation. Had food in hand, did not ask for anything from householders. Gradually, he attained complete self-immolation.

Mahavir Swami Received ‘Keval Gyan.’

Vardhman Mahavira performed silent penance for 12 years and suffered various kinds of hardships. Renunciation and moderation, love and compassion, modesty and virtue were the essences of his speeches. Swami Mahavira established the Chaturvidya Union with Shramana and Shramani, Shravak and Shravika, all. He said- Whatever authority, he came in the same class and proceeded to attain equality. The goal of life is to achieve parity. Gradually, the Sangh started progressing. Lord Mahavir spread his holy message by roaming in different parts of the country.

Mahavir Achieved Nirvana On Kartik

Master Mahavira achieved nirvana on Kartik, Krishna Amavasya at Pavapuri (Bihar) in 527 BC at 72. Deepawali is celebrated by lighting lamps from house to house on their Nirvana day.

Brahmacharya

The fourth principle of Swami Mahavira is celibacy. To accept this principle, Jain individuals need to demonstrate the qualities of purity. Under which they do not participate in erotic activities.

Imperfection

The fifth last principle is aparigraha. This education combines all the previous principles. It is believed that following the Apraigraha awakens the consciousness of the Jains, and they renounce the worldly and indulgent things.
