What Did Jesus Says On The Cross When He Died
Hanged on the cross for 6 hours. During this Lord, Jesus gave 7 promises.

Lord Jesus on Good Friday. The Lord Jesus was crucified on Friday morning at 9 a.m. And placed in the tomb before sunset the same day. At that time the age of Lord Jesus was only 33 years old.
When the Lord was crucified, a bandit each on his left and right side was also hanged on the cross and he was also being put to death. A robber said, are you not the Christ? You will save yourself and our lives.
(Luke 23:39) The second robber said that when you go to your kingdom, take care of me too, I was hanged on the cross by writing the blame because for this fault the Lord was sentenced to death. The robber confessed his sins at the same time and said that we are getting punishment according to justice. He urged that when you come to your kingdom, O Jesus, take care of me too.
He believed that Jesus had the right to a place in heaven. Last words spoken on the cross – Father, I hand over my soul to you (Luke 23:46) The Lord Jesus Christ died neither because of flogging nor persecution but of his own free will. He handed over his soul into the hands of God the Father.
The Bible says that God loved the world so much that he gave his only son to make sure that all who believe in him would live eternally.
What Did Jesus Say About The Commandments
It is sometimes believed that Jesus replaced the Ten Commandments with a new commandment. Rather, Jesus said that all God’s commandments are judged by the principle of love. “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and main commandment.
And this is the second like it, that you should love your neighbor as yourself. These two commandments are the basis of all the law and the prophets” (Matthew 22:37–40; Mark 12:29–34; Luke 10:27; 28). And he said, “I give you a new commandment, to love one another” (John 13:34).
Why Did Jesus Give The New Commandment Of Love?
Commanding love was not a new thing at all. However, this was only new to the legalists of Jesus’ time who did not practice in their lives the spirit of the law which is love. The Jews did not learn this basic truth even though Moses insisted on it (Leviticus 19:18, 34; Exodus 6:5; 10:12).
He reduced the law of God’s love to a heartless system of legal requirements. You give a tenth of mint and anise and cumin, but you have forsaken the serious things of the law, that is, justice, and mercy, and faith; Should have continued to do these too, and not forsake them (Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42).
Those who truly worship God will reflect that they are His children through their love for one another (John 13:34, 35). Therefore, he who loves others has served the purpose of the law. Just as sin is a violation of the law (1 John 3:4), so love, in contrast, is “the fulfillment of the law” (Romans 13:10).
Jesus Endorsed Obeying The Ten Commandments
Jesus was asked by the young rich ruler, Teacher, what good work should I do to have eternal life? He replied to him: Why are you asking me about the good? There is one. But, if you want life to be meaningful, obey the commandments. He asked him: What commandments are there? Jesus taught us not to murder, not commit adultery, to steal, and not to bear false witness. Respect your mother and father, and love your neighbor like yourself (Matthew 19;16-19).
Jesus also said that all the commandments are still binding on New Testament believers. He said, “Does that mean I will destroy prophets and books that were law?” I have not come to annihilate, but to fulfill the law,” I declare to you. Truly, I say to yours, until the heavens and the earth pass away, there will be no point or measure.”Do not leave the law unfulfilled,” (Matthew 5, pp. 17-19).”The grass dries up and the flower withers; but the word of God will stand forever” (Isaiah 41:8).
The Ten Commandments Are Expressed In Love
Paul declared this truth, “…be indebted to no one except by love among yourselves; For he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For that not to commit adultery, nor to kill; do not steal; do not covet; And if there is any command other than these, the summation of all is found in this, that you should love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no evil to one’s neighbor, so to have love is to keep the law” (Romans 13:8-10).
Therefore, if we love God with a true heart, we will obey the four commandments that are in our relationship with God – we will not take His name in vain, worship other gods, with soul and mind. We will consider the Sabbath holy, etc. And if we truly love our neighbor as ourselves, we will obey the last six commandments, which govern our relationship with others – we will not steal from our neighbor, we will not distort the truth. , etc. Love will lead to obey, or fulfill, the whole law.

Gospel Of Mark
The Gospel of Mark is generally considered to be the oldest gospel that was written in the year 70. [3] [4] Jesus foretold his death three times. Scholars point out that the gospel contains verses that Jesus foretold about his death. These verses may be older traditions or some scholars such as Walter Schmidls who reworked the author’s version.
Schmid admits that there are “troubling issues” regarding the proverbs. [5] Other scholars have been analyzing these arguments and offering a different view. They believe these arguments to be historical. Scholars have not reached a consensus. [6] Caesarea Philippi is the location of the first prophecy. This was where Peter declared Jesus the Messiah.
Jesus instructs his disciples that the Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, high priests, and teachers of the law. He must then be executed and rise again three days later. [7] Peter protests and Jesus says to him: “Follow my lead, Satan!” You don’t mind the things God gives you, but the things men give you. (Mark 8:31-33 ).
Matthew’s Gospel
This episode is found in the Gospel of Matthew 16/21-28. [8] Jesus “from that point”, which is when Jesus showed his disciples on multiple occasions that Jerusalem was his destination. Many things will be affected. The high priests and elders of the church, and all scribes, should be executed [9]
The Gospel of Luke 9:22-27 shortens the description, omitting the dialogue between Jesus and Peter.

The fourth prophecy in Matthew is found in Matthew 26:1-2, just before the plot against him by religious Jewish leaders:
The Passover is only two days away and the Son of Man, who will soon be taken to death on the cross, will soon be celebrated.
Scholars consider the Q source to be a compilation of sayings about Jesus. It contains no prophecy regarding Jesus’ death other than the Gospel Of Mark by the writers of the Luke Gospels. [13]
What Did Jesus Say About Love
The Bible tells us that God first is love and so as we understand what love is we come to understand who God ultimately is and by his nature.
And there are a few ways in which the Bible calls us to love. If we were called to love God to love our spouse if we are married and then to love our neighbor. In a particular kind of way, we might understand this love as a giving of ourselves for their good and for their flourishing as a person.
it moves beyond just a feeling or a kind of short-lasting emotion but is in an action a whole person. in which the total self for your total self is given over to somebody else for their good and for their flourishing.
in the way that God loves us and he gives of himself through Jesus. so that we can experience life be forgiven and changed in that the same way we express that love to our spouse.
if we’re married and then we also give that kind of love to our neighbor regardless of where they’re at or regardless of what they might give to us right there’s an opportunity for us to love people without conditions and so it very much is this movement of the total self for the good of someone else through sacrifice through giving through time spent right through the presence and personal relationships.
those are all powerful ways in which we can demonstrate love towards someone else.

10. Why Have You Forsaken Me
While Jesus was dying on the cross you wouldn’t necessarily expect him to quote scripture right but that’s exactly what happened about the ninth hour the bible says Jesus cried with a loud voice saying Eli Eli lam and that is to say my god why have you forsaken me that’s taken from Matthew 27 verses 46 and that was a quote from psalms chapter 22 verses 1 that says my god why have you forsaken me?
So even Christians were wondering okay well Jesus who Christians believe is divine why would he says my god why have you forsaken me doesn’t he knows that God was always with him and it’s also a pretty surprising fact that it was quoted from another scripture.
9. I Am Thirsty
The Next Quote is when Jesus mentioned that he was thirsty also on the cross and this is also a quote from another scripture now it’s written in the book of John chapter 19, verses 28-29, later understanding that all was completed. Jesus then said that he was thirsty for a jar. So they made a wine vinegar solution and soaked a sponge in it.
They then placed the sponge on the stalk of the hyssop plants and lifted it. to Jesus’s lips but this also comes from the book of psalms chapter 69 verses 21 which says they put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst now Christians believe that Jesus was just fulfilling the prophecy that was written years before that they would give him vinegar to drink.
8. I Have Not Come To Bring Peace
Now the next statement is a little bit more surprising it leaves people going Jesus said that it’s the passage where he says I have not come to bring peace now this full passage goes like this does not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth I have not come to bring peace but a sword for I have come to set a man against his father and a daughter against her mother and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law and that’s taken from the book of Matthew chapter 10 verses 34. So what Jesus not here to bring the world peace I thought that’s what he was all about.
7. I Give You Peace
Jesus says I give you peace so yes we saw according to the bible that there are statements that Jesus did not intend to bring peace rather he came to bring a sword but despite not coming to bring peace he also came to bring peace well in the new testament book of john chapter 13 verses 27.
It goes as follows peace I leave with you my peace I give you I do not give you as the world gives do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid so I guess whatever you thought world peace was gonna look like or how it was gonna be like it’s not the kind of piece.
6. You Snakes And Vipers
Jesus mentions snakes and vipers and we don’t tend to view Jesus as somebody that would call somebody names especially insulting names but there is a passage in the bible where Jesus was speaking to the religious people at the time and he said this you brutal vipers.
How can you speak well when you’re evil for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks and that’s from Matthew chapter 12 verses 34 and he also said you snakes you brutal vipers how will you escape being condemned to hell and that’s from Matthew 23 verses 33.
5. Hate Your Family
Number five hate your family so the popular Christian teaching is that anyone who chooses to follow Jesus must be willing to put him before anyone else even close family members and according to the bible Jesus is reported to have said these words if anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes and even his own life he cannot be my disciple and that’s found in the gospel according to luke chapter 14 verses 26.
Christians believe that Jesus often uses extreme exaggeration sometimes to make a point so like, in this case, Christians are taught to seek the kingdom of God first and foremost as it’s mentioned in Matthew chapter 6 verses 33 specifically and Christians are also told to love Jesus so much that in comparison to other relations with other people it may look like hate to others so it’s just contrasting the different levels of love.
4. Forgive Seventy Times Seven
Forgive seventy times seven sometimes I know it’s hard to forgive somebody once but according to the bible Matthew chapter 18 verses 21 it goes as follows then Peter stood up and asked him, Lord, how often will my brother sin towards me. I forgave him seven times as Jesus said to me. You should not repeat seven times, but seventy-seven times.
And by the way, guys if you need a little help in math I know I was a little bit slow so I had to calculate this 70 times 7 works out to be 490 times however generally speaking though Christians teach that this doesn’t necessarily mean that you got to keep tabs on how many times somebody has wronged you it just means that you have to be able to forgive somebody without limit and the average person wouldn’t be wronged by somebody anywhere near 490 times in a lifetime anyway and if you’re doing that many bad things to somebody you don’t deserve to go to heaven.
3. You Have Seen The Father
Number three you have seen the father and this was something that Jesus is recorded to have mentioned in the book of John chapter 14 verses 8 to 9. That passage goes as follows Philip said to him lord show us the Father and that will be enough for us Jesus said to him have I been with You have been with me for so long, and you don’t know me, Philip. He who has seen me has also seen the father.
How do you say, show us the father? For Christians, scripture can be very confusing. Because Jesus is believed to be the son of God who is equal also with God the father but at the same time Jesus prays to god the father so if you’ve seen Jesus you’ve seen the father it’s a very surprising statement there’s a lot that can be said about it.
