Why Did God Send Jesus On Earth?

God send Jesus to earth because despite centuries of signing new agreements with their people and sending many prophets, the people simply did not behave appropriately. So they should be punished. 1. Reason the Bible tells us about why Jesus came to earth is that Jesus Came To Save Sinners. Just take a look at a few of these passages mark’s gospel says on hearing this, Jesus said to them it’s not healthy who need a doctor but the sick I have come not to call the righteous but sinners. 

In 1 Timothy, it says that the verse is true and deserves full acceptance in First Timothy. Jesus Christ was born on earth to save sinners, of whom I am the chief.

In Hebrews, it states that he was to endure repeatedly suffering from the beginning of time to the world, but now as it stands, he has been revealed once and for all at the close of the age to wipe away sin with the death of himself.

This passage points out that sin has been a plague upon the earth sin is the source of every pain that we experience: sickness, violence, injustice, and even death have their roots in sin. Still, scripture says that Jesus came to save us from that sin. He allows us to be born again to have a new life in him where our sins are forgiven. We become a new creation but not only that. He calls us to go out and share that good news with others so that their sins can be forgiven and our world can be redeemed to be the place that God created to be a place free from sin.

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been in a position to be sinners and are no longer forgiven for their transgressions. (John 15:22)

See, the truth is that because of sin. Our world is shrouded in darkness. We can’t experience the beauty and joy God intended for us when God first created us. Still, Jesus changes that he brings light into our darkness. He exposes the sin and injustice around us, but not only does he reveal it, but he also destroys it. And he opens our eyes to see what true life looks like so we don’t have to suffer anymore. He empowers us to go out into the world to be light for others so they might experience the same joy that we found in him.

Paul tells us that he is our reconciliation, who has united us and has torn down the law, the wall that divides the body of enmity. The commandments in the ordinances allow him to command that he may be a man instead of two.

To make peace and reconcile us to God as one in Christ through the cross and thus end the hatred. He then preached peace to all of you Far away and peace to all who were close because we all have one connection to the father through him. (Ephesians 2:14-18)

It’s so strange how much violence has been committed over the centuries by Christians in the name of Jesus. I mean, it couldn’t be more obvious that scripture promotes the opposite. Jesus didn’t come to tear us apart and purge the resistors. His gospel was one of peace. He didn’t fight Herod Pilate or Caesar. He died for us all, including them. And he came and showed us what real love looks like the real love is found in the sacrifice that real power is in the sacrifice Jesus comes to show us that the problems of our world won’t be resolved with wars and battles.

In fact if we’ve seen anything we’ve just seen that wars lead to more wars Jesus says I’ve come to show you a different way a better way he comes to show us that God’s love is sacrificial. When we love one another that way, when we surrender to his love and embody it, we begin to experience transformation in every area of our life in our relationships at home, at work, at school, and even transformation worldwide.

4. Reason is that God came to earth To Die. 

I know it sounds weird to say this. Still, Jesus makes it very clear that this is why he came i mean. Just look at what he says. Truly Truly i say to you. If the grain is thrown into the ground and then dies, it remains by itself. If it dies, it will bear much fruit. The person who is the lover of this life will lose it and regret it for life, will hold it in this life for the rest of his life. If I serve someone, he has to follow me.

Wherever I am, where will my servants be, if anyone serves me. Father will reward him. Is my heart troubled, and what shall I say to you, Father? Save me from this moment, but for this reason, I have come to this moment. (John 12:24-27)

Jesus says that he came to die, but just as the death of a grain of wheat gives life to more wheat. Hence, his death gives life to us, as we’ve said. His death forgives our sins. Still, it does so much more than that Jesus restores our relationship with God. He removes the sin that separates us from God. He gives us access to God the father. And he welcomes us into God’s family.

He allows us to have a new life free from sin. You see Jesus’ death and resurrection work in tandem. His resurrection allows us to have a new life, but his death on that cross frees us from the sin that held its grip on us. It allows us to be born as a new person not covered in that same sin, not locked up in that same sin but somebody completely new we are born again clean and fresh we are born again into a life where sin no longer has its grip on us because now we have victory over sin. After all, we’ve been reborn into Christ. 

5. Reason that God send Jesus to earth To Serve Us  To Redeem Humanity. The scriptures reveal that Adam, the first man was a living human being, but the final Adam, Christ, is a life-giving spirit that Adam, the first man, constructed out of, from the soil when Christ, the second man, emerged from heaven. (1 Corinthian 15:45-47)

For as by a man came death by a man has also come to the resurrection of the dead for as in Adam all die so also in Christ shall all be made alive. (1 Corinthian 15:21-22)

The first humans brought sin into the world, but Jesus removed its power. The first corrupted the earth, but Jesus restores it the first led humanity into darkness. Still, Jesus redeems us and returns us to who God created us to be in other words, Jesus makes it possible for our world to be as God intended it for creation to be restored for us to have the same connection with God that Adam and eve did he gives us this hope and this promise that this is possible and things can turn around. 

6. Reason that Jesus came to earth was To Offer Us Eternal Life. Jesus says I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever, and the bread that I will give for the world’s life is my flesh. (John 6:15)

Because God so was he a lover of the world, God gave his one and only son so that everyone who is a believer in him will not die but enjoy eternal life. (John 3:16)

Jesus came to free us from sin and redeem us so that we could spend eternity with God, but that’s not all that eternal life means eternity isn’t just the future eternity encompasses all time which means that Jesus came to give us eternal life in the present to transform our lives right now he came to free us from the darkness in our lives not only the sin in us but the sin around us he came to free us from things like poverty injustice oppression addiction anger fear hatred he came to show us that these things can be overcome in this world because the same power that overcame death and raised Jesus from the grave is the same power that can overcome all of these things.

7. Reason that God send Jesus to earth To Serve Us. Mark’s gospel reveals that Jesus Christ was not born to serve instead but to serve others and offer his life for the sake of obtaining an offer of ransom to many. (Mark 10:45)

This is one of those things that is so crazy, but we don’t even realize it. I mean, honestly, most of the time, we’re okay with the idea of God serving us right. Our job is to pray, and God’s job is to give us what we want, but when you think about it, that’s just nuts, right Jesus was the king that kings what other king exists to serve his people? I mean, when you get down to it, the people who serve the king have the power, and the people support that but not Jesus. Jesus shows us that God’s love is so great that God came to earth not just to be served by us but to serve us. 

8. Reason that scripture shows us is that God also came to earth To Bring Us, Joy. During the birth of Jesus when Jesus was born, an angel told the people, do not be afraid because I am bringing you a message of great joy for everyone. (Luke 2:10)

This is one of those things that we often overlook and don’t think about. I mean, we can be so serious sometimes when we talk about Jesus. Our faith salvation is a concept the Bible is a set of rules, but Jesus presence in our world and our lives should bring us joy. I mean, Jesus allows us to experience God’s love, salvation, hope, and joy beyond anything that we can find here on earth.

9. Reason God send Jesus to earth because to Reveal The Father. Jesus declares that anyone who has ever seen me has witnessed the Father So why would you ask me to demonstrate him? Do you think I’m in the father, and the father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but the father who lives in me does his work through me. (John 14:9-10)

Since the very beginning of time, people have wanted to understand God, what God is like, what God cares about, and what God wants from us. Well, Jesus reveals those things to us. I mean, Jesus is God in human form when you see him you see God I mean when you read Jesus words, you hear the voice of God what Jesus cares about God cares about what Jesus did God would do what Jesus commands god commands because Jesus is God what this means for us is that because of Jesus we have incredible access to God that people have longed for since the beginning of time and God loves us enough to come to earth and give us that.

Reason that Jesus comes to earth is to Give Us Good News. Jesus said that the Spirit Lord Jehovah has come down on me because the Lord has anointed me with his Holy Spirit to preach the good news to the needy. He has also given me the task of declaring freedom to the jailed people and restoring sight to the blind, to declare this year as his blessing year.

Then he said to them. I have to spread the good news of the kingdom of God to other cities as well because I have been appointed to do so. (Luke 14:18-19)

The word gospel means good news. It’s an announcement of good news, and these words that we just heard from Jesus are actually from one of the first sermons he gives at the beginning of his ministry and what he’s saying is this is why I’m here if you’re poor and hurting I’ve got good news if you’re blind and sick I’ve got good news if you’re oppressed or captive I’ve got good news Jesus’s message is that whatever is broken in your life I am here to give you good news because as we’ve seen what Jesus is saying is that I’ve come to save and redeem you and this world in a way that nothing else can. 

As Christians we need to know Why did Jesus come to earth? I mean, you’ve probably had a pastor who’s encouraged you to go out there and share your faith with someone Jesus commands us to make disciples, and what all of that hinges on is understanding who Jesus is why he came and why that matters because ultimately as Christians our job is to go out into this world and spread this good news spread this gospel so that not only do we experience the salvation that Jesus came to give us not only do we experience these things that we’ve been talking about but we make sure that the whole world knows it and experiences it and that God’s kingdom might come just as Jesus intended it.
